Room in Roof Insulation

Save on energy bills with Room in Roof

The  insulation initiative prioritizes single, cost-effective insulation measures over multiple measures. Aimed at residences with low energy efficiency ratings in lower Council Tax band areas and EPC ratings of D or below, it will operate from April 2023 to March 2026, potentially saving UK households £300-£400 annually on energy bills. Households could receive up to £1,500 for energy efficiency upgrades, covering up to 75% of insulation costs, with residents responsible for the remaining balance.

Despite over 3.1 million home improvements made through the ECO Scheme since 2013, and only 42% of homes in England rated EPC C or higher, this insulation scheme is crucial for expanding benefits to more people.

We Use the SWIP System

Our method involves employing the SWIP system, which entails the installation of 65mm of SWIP Plaster Board on the walls. These are then enveloped with a water-permeable membrane to ensure the walls achieve airtightness. This, along with enhanced ventilation, contributes to creating a cozy and well-ventilated home environment. Notably, Internal Wall Insulation stands out as the most cost-effective measure for reducing energy expenses.
